Quarterly check up

It feels good to make progress on your goals.

We’re nearly done with March -- an entire quarter into 2021. 

How are you progressing towards your 2021 goals so far?  Hit reply and let me know. I’m happy to give you a positive pep talk, if needed.

I’ve definitely been making progress towards my goals, although, it never feels like it’s moving as quickly as I would like.

One of my goals this year is to write/record a new song and put it out into the world at least once a month. The goal is to end up with at least 12 new songs added to my catalog by the end of the year, more if I’m able. You can listen to the latest one, “Catching Rays (Instrumental)” here.

On the flip side, my Eleven Music Career Center cofounders and I have not been progressing perhaps quite as quickly as we had hoped on developing some of our new offerings. We’re at a point where we are course-correcting to help make the most of the year and ensure we hit or come close to our goals.

...And that’s okay...you have to constantly evaluate what’s working and not. Being as objective and realistic about your pursuits is valuable, and the more you do it, the more you learn where you can stretch yourself and where you need to cut yourself some slack -- all important things to discover as you continue to positively invest in yourself.

This weekend, I encourage you to examine the first quarter of 2021 and write down 3 victories as well as 3 areas to focus on for improvement. Then get back at it next week.
