Diligence is often unrecognized - steady on

I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lately, between family, work, and additional endeavors my time has been stretched pretty thin. I suppose its natural. Autumn has a lot going on – school starts for the kids, work has annual conferences to speak at/work/attend, there are music performances, and Eleven has its first meet & greet event...all of which seem to have a million tasks and a million more little decisions to be made toward their completion. Keeping it all straight and staying ahead of the curve to do it all well gets overwhelming. Can you relate? It can be easy to get overwhelmed when there are several balls you’re trying to keep in the air while you juggle everything. However, it feels really great when you do emerge victorious on the other side of all those tasks and decisions. You feel like you have this secret, or at least I do, that no one really knows what you’ve gone through to reach the other side. Usually, few if any people witness the work, the toil, the stress and anxiety and even the joys – the parts of the journey that totally energize you enough to keep you motivated to move through it all – they just see the end result, and often take it for granted. Regardless, you must momentarily celebrate and revel in the accomplishment of completing everything and enjoying its success. Then, I suppose it’s on to the next thing…but, you know what? You walk into the next thing with more confidence, more experience, more knowledge and finesse, you get better by consistently taking action and continuing to give your best self in everything you do – when you spend time with your family, at work, in your entrepreneurial endeavors, everywhere. …and that’s the secret – remember the secret from before of all the hard work that goes into accomplishing anything in life that is often unnoticed – that’s what makes you successful. When you do the right things even when no one is looking, the accumulative effort will stack up to many little actions that create big victories that becomes a reputation that follows you everywhere, which attracts positive life and work opportunities. The point is, do your best to do the right things, be kind, be positive, and work hard in everything you do. It’s usually never easy, but the results are more than worth it. Iron sharpens iron. Success breeds success. Have a great week!
