Trust yourself. Have faith in your abilities.
Have you ever started a new job and wondered if you are really the right person for the role?Thinking like that usually means there's a lack of self-confidence.You are allowing doubt to creep into your self talk, which is planting fear in your mindset. That fear turns into anxiety, and that anxiety can breed more doubt and more anxiety to the point that you stumble, quit or just give up. Such self sabotage should be reflected upon to identify how it can be avoided. When that kind of anxiety settles in for me, I begin to put fear into the equation suggesting to myself that maybe there's a chance I'm not the best fit for what I'm doing. However, in my heart of hearts I know that is untrue. When this happens that fear makes me think that I need to generate multiple income streams as a backup plan in case it's discovered that I'm not the right person for the job I'm doing.I begin thinking of entrepreneurial ventures I can embark on quickly to earn revenue as soon as possible. Then some of those ideas have some mild success; most do not. I get burnt out on the ideas because I was more interested in the somewhat quick money it could potentially produce vs. putting more of my heart and soul into creating quality of which I'm proud. This cyclical act somehow makes me think if I have a real systematic, automated or software-like business that that makes me a real entrepreneur instead of just being a creative person who is often a hired gun. (There's that doubt again.)For me, it's a longer game to play, but I realize I need to continue thinking more like an artist and creative problem-solver to reach my success vs. trying to be some entrepreneur that I'm not. This means taking the time to create and produce great results even if the effort seems more than the return.Over time that effort will get faster and seem like less work due to repetition and having the process down, and that seemingly easier effort will start to generate far more return than I thought it could originally. In fact, when I look back at the most successful endeavors in my life and career being the passionate artist has produced far more return than what others may think is the best business path to a successful career. Thank you for your time and attention. Nick Venturella nickventurella.comgrowloop.comnickvmusic.net
