I was asked the other day, what my email list community, the Investors, was all about from someone that came across it on my NickVmusic.net website.Because this person came from my music website and read the description on my email list sign up page there, it stood out as being very different than other musicians asking for people to sign up on their email list. (In full transparancy, my music site as well as NickVenturella.com’s email list sign up end up on the same email list – this Investors email newsletter list.)I thought, that’s a good thing, I don’t want to just appear to be more of the same for my site visitors. As a musician, writer, marketer, entrepreneur, etc., etc., I’m interested in providing value to those I connect with.I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately…I’ve been trying to identify, or rather simplify and articulate, who I am as well as what I do to benefit you as a subscriber to this Investors email newsletter (because you invest in yourself to be better everyday, and I want to invest my time and energy to ensure we mutually benefit with value).Thank you, by the way, for your continued attention and partnership! So, based on what I want to aspire to, and the kind of value you, and other subscribers, have told me I provide, here are some thoughts around how I perceive myself, the value I want to provide to you, and where we can likely go together…I am a musician, a visual artist and writer first and foremost. These creative outlets have always been central to who I am, and have been at the core of every success in my life. The only reason I know how to build strategic, creative solutions to artistic, marketing, business or life problems is because I strive to know myself and understand how I operate through the creative expressions I indulge in.To that end, my creativity and artistic tendancies is a major factor in my ability to uncover and make connections between ideas and things that others don’t regularly see as potential or obvious solutions. So, then what’s the value to you?I think by capturing your attention – through the music, art or writing I put out – has the power to initially bring you, me and others together. However, to keep you around, and coming back, I want to ensure I’m giving you things to ponder and/or put into action to know yourself better in a way that helps you understand how you best operate and can put forth the best, most positive and successful version of yourself.I have no doubt that the way you interpret and use that self-knowledge will lead to all sorts of wonderful output and radiated positive energy. That part is on you, but if I can help inspire any small bit of that, then I’ve been successful. My hope is that it helps you be your best artistic self, if that’s what you’re after, or your best entrepreneurial self, if that’s your thing, or your best mom-self, if that’s who you are, or perhaps, and likely, a combination of many, or all, of those things to be your best self. The point is, that I want to bring people into this self-knowledge fold via the vehicles I know how to drive – my music, art and writing – but once here, I hope you gain further value by examining who you are, building a positive relationship with yourself to the point that you can realize the version of you that you want to be, and then sharing the best of you with others to elevate them and yourself. However, for anyone to achieve that, it takes work – action, reflection, experimentation, more action and more reflection. Like any art form, self-knowledge/positivity/improvement is a craft that you constantly work at but will likely never fully master only because it’s too dynamic – as you grow and change, what you aspire to will grow and change…And that’s okay…you just have to stay motivated to continue working your craft, and if we can continue to find ways to connect and elevate together we’ll each be better for it. What do you say? Sincerely,Nick Venturella NickVenturella.comLearn about the Provision JournalNickVmusic.netGrowLoop.comAutismHR.com
