Appreciation

You may or may not know that March 5th is Employee Appreciation Day.

Beyond being an employee at an organization, I am also a business owner. The businesses I own do not currently have employees (just me for one, and two other co-founders in the other).

However, I am especially grateful for my fellow work colleagues in all the work settings I find myself in. I am blessed and fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some amazing, talented, and smart people.

But who I really want to appreciate today is YOU! Thank you for continuing to read my, sometimes, rambling newsletters. I certainly try to bring you value with tips to invest in your best, positive self and others around you. 

You often validate my efforts with your replies to my emails - thank you - but more importantly, I hope you’re reflecting on who you are, are truly investing in yourself/your success/in your strengths, are consistently growing, and eventually paying forward your good fortune in whatever way you feel is uniquely and authentically in your ability.

Lately, online, I’ve been very quick to provide my professional marketing and music advice to others who ask without expectation of anything in return, but the interesting thing is that I've been getting so much more in return…

I feel good about paying forward my experiences to help others not as far along a similar path, and various, unexpected opportunities to network (at least online) with others, have arisen...the future seems bright as long as I keep my mind fixed on the sun. I’m wishing you the same, and rooting for your success!
