NickVenturella.com 3-25-22 - set yourself apart

set yourself apart

First off, I want to welcome a few new subscribers to our Investors newsletter.  Thank you for signing up and being here:  Dana, Rich, and Kathy!  Glad to have you aboard!

As reminder, the content I provide in this newsletter is exclusive for you. I don’t post this elsewhere online. That’s a benefit for your attention. Because you're part of this Investors group you can access some of the recent past newsletters with this link...this is not available to others.

This content is a small token of appreciation for your interest and continuous curiosity in choosing to invest in yourself and others. I, probably like you, enjoy being around others who are interested in further developing their growth mindset to make incremental self-improvements daily, and positively impact those around them as a result.

So what is it that sets you apart?

To begin with, you just authentically being you will set you apart in many ways. Unfortunately, many people aren’t all that comfortable in their own skin. Plus, without self-reflection they may not truly know who they are or what they personally value to feel like they have a handle on who they want to be, or could be, and how they can make a positive impact in their day-to-day world.

Couple self-reflection with constant curiosity and a bias towards action and you will be a lifelong learner who makes things happen.

At a basic level, these few things can help set you apart personally and professionally:  wanting to consistently learn, improve, and take action on what you learn to improve -- i.e. doing what you say you’re going to do. (Too often many don’t follow through on what they say they’re going to do, so simply following through easily helps you rise above the pack. Unfortunately, that’s a sad truth, but don’t be part of that sad truth).

I always like to hear from you so feel free reply and let me know about something you’ve done this week to improve yourself - something you learned or an action you took…how did it help you further invest in yourself and, perhaps as a byproduct, help others around you?
