What can you do in 15 minutes

What do you spend your own time doing? In other words, when you get time to do whatever it is you want to do, how do you spend that time? Are you using it wisely to advance your goals and endeavors? If you’re like me with young kids, free time of your own likely comes in 15 minute increments at random times throughout the day. That can make it tough to feel like you’re really making any progress on your own personal goals and endeavors. However, the way you spend those few minutes when you get them is the difference between progressing your goals forward and deciding you’re just not going to worry about it.Not worrying about it will allow you to push it off for another day or altogether. After a few weeks or months of this you will have nothing to show, and likely feel worse about not having a lot of time to do the things you want.Part of having time to work on your goals is to shift your mindset to be optimistic and opportunistic.  What I mean is, you have to look at those free 15 minutes positively -- as an opportunity to send one email to help move some important communication forward that affects your goals.Or, that 15 minutes could be spent coming up with the right headline for your next blog post, or capturing a quick iPhone recording of that song idea you’ve been playing around with on the guitar. Those little moments of a few minutes here or there don’t seem like enough time to do much of anything, but over time as you seize several of those moments and string them together you’ll discover you’ve made a heck of a lot more progress than you would have otherwise.Keep hustling to capitalize on every available moment!Have a safe and happy Halloween!Nick Venturella nickventurella.comgrowloop.comnickvmusic.net
