Your Why should re-energize

Do you ever get a sense of calm before a storm related to life or work events that you know are coming up?
That’s what I’m feeling at the moment. At my work, the online community I work on and run is undergoing a major revamp that I’m leading next week with a big relaunch of our program to customers the following week.
I’m excited about it and relatively prepared but I know, from experience, that there will be a ton of little unexpected things that pop up that will require attention and quick decisions.
In those situations, the goal or desired outcome that I’m shooting for – the why behind what I’m doing – is what motivates me to push hard with quality work to reach that outcome.
What are the “Whys” in your life?
If you don’t often pause to think about it, I encourage you to do so this weekend. Doing so can be the refresh or recalibration you may need to renew your motivation.
In our day-to-day routines it can be easy to overlook the reason you’re doing something, so stepping back to remind yourself can help to renew your drive.
Quick story…if you’ve been following along you know that Dan Lezama, the other half of our music duo group, Gemini’s Rival, and I have been re-recording our music from our late ‘90’s/early 2000’s heyday. It’s been so fun and energizing.Well, we both took a small break working on music stuff due to other things we each had going on in our lives (not a long hiatus, but like a week-ish)...Anyway, I was definitely noticing that I’ve been more bummed lately because I wasn’t engaging in as much music as the previous few weeks, but I didn't quite realize it was the music that was causing it. Music really just is a motivating, energizing force for me.Then yesterday Dan shared with me online some video footage that his mom recently gave him (old VHS tapes that Dan videoed while watching with his phone) of the two of us in high school rocking out together on stage at some early live performances. It just brought me right back to those days and put a huge smile on my face. It made me remember one of several things that keep me motivated. We'll likely post some of this stuff to our YouTube channel eventually. I think you'll get a kick out of it.
----------UPDATES:
I'm working on some new guitar builds(keep that in mind regarding unique holiday gift ideas for those you care about)There's currently a FALLSALE (promo code) on my Etsy shop. Use that code and get 10% off the purchase of select guitars. Go to nickVguitars Etsy shop to see what's currently available.Hit reply or reach out through the nickVguitars site as I'm beginning to take on commissioned guitar builds. I have two in the works already.----------Recently, I recorded a cover version of the song, "Hard to Handle" for a licensing opportunity. They wanted a version of the song similar to the Black Crows' version from the '90's. I won't know for a bit if I landed the placement, but I thought you might want to hear my version of that song:"Hard to Handle" - Nick Venturella cover-----------Stay tuned for a new song called, "Nowhere to Fall"to be released on all major streaming platforms later this month.
